Etika Profesi Pramugari

Etika Profesi Pramugari

Pramugari adalah staf atau karyawan perusahaan penerbangan yang melayani penumpang terutama keamanannya. Istilah pramugari digunakan untuk staf perempuan, sedang sebaliknya untuk staf lelaki adalah pramugara.

Tugas Pramugari sebagai penunjang dan penyedia segala kebutuhan  penumpang (passenger) selama penerbangan dan memberikan rasa aman dan nyaman kepada para penumpang dengan memberikan pelayanan secara prima selama perjalanan sehingga penumpang merasa nyaman dan puas.

Etika yang harus dimiliki oleh seorang pramugari adalah:
1. Teliti
Sebelum penumpang memasuki pesawat terbang (boarding) pramugari/pramugara harus mengecek terlebih dahulu peralatan keselamatan penerbangan yang akan dibawa pada penerbangan tersebut. Seperti persediaan makanan dan minuman, obat-obatan, sabuk pengaman, masker oksigen, pelampung, dan lain sebagainya.

2. Dapat bekerja dalam tim
Pada saat proses boarding meskipun barang-barang ke kabin dilakukan oleh penumpangnya sendiri, kondisi ini biasanya cenderung cukup crowded. Dan pramugari/pramugara juga akan menawarkan bantuan ke penumpang yang mengalami kesulitan untuk meletakan barang bawaannya ke bagasi kabin.

3. Ramah
Senyuman, sapaan, serta ucapan salam kepada penumpang wajib pramugari/pramugara berikan. Bahkan sikap tersebut harus mulai ditunjukan ketika menyambut para penumpang yang hendak masuk ke dalam pesawat terbang.

4. Memprioritaskan kenyamanan penumpang
Ketika di udara, pramugari bertugas untuk menawarkan makanan dan minuman kepada penumpang. Dan ketika terjadi hal darurat, pramugari/pramugara akan segera mengarahkan penumpang serta memberikan pertolongan pertama yang diperlukan.

5. Memastikan keselamatan penumpang
Jika penerbangan dalam kondisi darurat, pramugari/pramugara tidak boleh terlihat panik dan tugas mereka adalah menenangkan penumpang dan memberikannya prioritas kesalamatan dibanding dirinya sendiri.

6. Sabar dan tegas dalam bekerja
Dalam penerbangan sering kali didapati penumpang yang masih belum memasang sabuk pengaman atau masih sibuk menggunakan telepon genggam mereka. Dalam kondisi seperti ini, kesabaran dan ketegasan pramugari/pramugara sangat dibutuhkan.

7. Ucapan salam dan terima kasih
Saat pesawat terbang hendak mendarat, pramugari/pramugara akan kembali memastikan bahwa semua penumpang telah memasang sabuk pengamannya dengan baik. Dan pada saat pesawat terbang telah mendarat dan penumpang bersiap turun, pramugari/pramugara akan memberikan ucapan salam perpisahan dan terimakasih karena telah memilih maskapai penerbangan nya untuk melakukan perjalanan.

I tried reaching you on phone but could not connect. I am the Human Resources Development team of Google would like to book a conference hall in your hotel. We need to conduct a training session for the newly joined employees.
We are planning to run this event on 16th and 17th of February from 8 am to 1 pm. According to my estimations, I will need to be accommodated for at least a hundred people. We will need a big conference hall to accommodate our members and a smaller room next to conference hall.
We will need fifty round tables with nine chairs in each table, a microphone wireless, a projector and a good sound system in the conference hall. In the smaller room, we need five rectangular tables, five sofas, and a monitor.
We would also like the hotel to arrange for lunch. I would appreciate your faxing me the menu choices as soon as possible, but no later than Friday, February 8th.
We would like to know the projected costs for our two days event. You do not need to include the lunch catering costs at this time. Could you fax or e-mail me your cost projections by 30th? I will give you the final confirmation of our reservation by close of  business on the 30th.
